The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was in the back which made it quieter and we could open the window for ventilation. It was unusually hot for May and the central AC wasn't on. Our room was very clean and neat.
A room in the front of the Hotel would be noisy, particularly if it was hot and you had to open a window.
The Relais was very central, close to Opera, the Marais of course, and easy metro journey to Louvre, Eiffel Tower (further) and the like. My second stay; preferred the (superior) rooms on Rue Turbigo to those overlooking central courtyard lightwell, but it was fairly quiet in both.
Older reception man who I think was the Manager was lovely, giving me several tips about the area etc,BUT the rest of the staff were generally offhand and unhelpful.
Excellent staff, facilities and decor of the room. For a Paris it is a spot on price, because usually everything is overpriced. Excellent breakfast room and the breakfast itself was generous.Highly recommend!
Very clean room/bathroom, great water pressure, good location by Republique Metro stop, nice to have windows open to the street for fresh air
Room was EXTREMELY small and basic, unreliable wi-fi, charge per day to use safe (generally included with room), overall did not seem worth the price to us, but it was clean, safe and well located
The location near metro station
I didn't like the ( I think over charged) of ten euros -per person- for the breakfast. They didn't especify that it was per person and I find it very tricky.
It was convenient clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful
Practical, very good location near public transport. Friendly and efficient staff. Small but comfortable, clean and quiet, nicely furnished room.
The design, look and general feeling of the rooms is great. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the reception room which is rather bland and cold.
Very convenient location, near the metro and not far from the city centre. Room was clean and comfortable, if compact (this is Paris, after all!) but not unduly cramped. By no means luxury accomodation, which is hardly a surprise at this price level, but has some interesting design touches. Free wi-fi too!
Plumbing is a little noisy - it's an old building - and you're left in no doubt when your neighbours are taking a shower! This is unlikely to be a major issue, though, unless you're a very light sleeper.
The closeness to the metro.
The rooms are small, but that is the way it is in Paris. The breakfast was not really worth 10 euros, but then, that's Paris.
Excellent hotel in a great location being less than 1 minute’s walk from a supermarket, patisserie, café, Metro station. As a solo traveller having the close access to these facilities made my stay easy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and they all spoken English which was a big help to me as my French was quite limited. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent value for money for accommodation
Breakfast seemed over priced, and on the description it was not immediately obvious that this was extra. We ate our breakfast elsewhere. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms - when will continental Europe hotels catch up with the UK?
Easy to find parking spot on the road.
Most of bathroom door is smokey transparent glass.... This hotel info. should have noted about it. Not good for conservative couple.
Clean room, great neighborhood, convenient public transportation, nice staff There is a small lift which can only hold two persons or one person plus one case. Although I booked a room for single person, the room should be OK for couple. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Paris next time.
The wonderful decor of the room, stylish and with amazing lighting!
It is stylish, cmfortable and good value.
